Welcome to Natural Healing Arts Medical Center in Pinecraft, Sarasota. We are a very unique Holistic Center, in that we provide acupuncture, prolopuncture, biopuncture, chiropractic, weight loss and massage therapy under one roof.
People are becoming more aware of Holistic medicine these days. When I first started practicing, only 25% of the US had ever tried alternative medicine. Last year Acupuncture Today did a survey and now 75% of the US has tried some form of Alternative Medicine. Doctors and Western medicine were thought to be the only way people could become healed. With the age of the Internet and the mass media outlets, people are starting to see how dangerous Western medicine really has become. Frankly, people are sick of taking drugs with all their side effects and going underneath the knife. The World Health Origination has ranked the US 37th in the world for health care. Does this seem wrong to anyone besides me? In fact over 65% of all drugs on the market are just a synthetic duplication of substances that occur naturally in the world. Chinese medicine has been proven over the test of time that it is very safe and an effective way of healing disease.
There are now more drug commercials on TV today. In fact there are more drug commercials than any other type of commercials. There was a study done by ten doctors called “Death by Medicine,” and in the study they concluded that Western medicine was the #1 killer in the US. Don’t take my word for it; I have the study here on the website. Drug companies are so wealthy and have so much influence that they have changed the way medicine is done. Drug companies are more loyal to their stock holders than they are to their patients. Think about it, the stockholders want to make big profits and if the drugs they are selling were to heal people they wouldn’t make as much money. The model of medicine has become one of masking and the managing of symptoms. If the drug companies can mask and manage a patient’s disease, they have a customer for life. Don’t get me wrong; Western medicine definately has it merits, but it isn’t the “end-all” for treating disease.
I was fortunate enough to do some of my training in China where I got to see, firsthand, how Eastern and Western medicine can work together for the betterment of the patient. What Natural Healing Arts does is give patients options to the traditional practices of drugging, radiating and cutting as the model.
